Make no mistake about it, sound has come a long way in the last few decades.
Apple tapped into this market about 15 years ago with their MP3 player. The function was about simplicity and design and won many fans around the world. Hand held devices needed to be fashionable as well as producing the quality and function that everyone demands.
Today, we are at cutting edge technology with the advent of Bluetooth 5.0 which has increased the quality of the reproduction of the audio quality. Wireless connections were the in-thing a few years back where Sonos, Bose all economized on this technology. But now that Bluetooth 5.0 has appeared, those technologies are beginning to look outdated primarily due to the additional complexity of connection.
Since most devices are built using the Bluetooth technology, it makes sense to go with this protocol. I have been a big fan of the audio chrome device produced by Google. Not too long ago, Google decided to abandon this technology altogether and for good reasons.
Welcome to Bluetooth 5.0. An improved protocol over Bluetooth 4.0 offering superior sound. Some thing you will instantly hear and come to appreciate in the likes of the Rokhol Gem speakers.
